Electrical Standard provides electrical service in Whitby for homes, shops, offices and managed properties. From a recurring circuit fault to an electrical renovation, we assess the work, explain the options and confirm the next step before you book.
A panel replacement and a change to the incoming electrical service can involve different work. Confirming which one your property needs helps establish the scope, utility involvement and interruption to power.
Confirm the Elexicon service request
For properties supplied by Elexicon Energy, changes to service size or location start with its Connection and Upgrades Request process. Elexicon prepares a service layout and offer to connect from the project details. We identify the utility steps that apply and coordinate our work within the agreed scope.
Separate charger installation from a service upgrade
Elexicon’s EV guidance calls for a Licensed Electrical Contractor, an ESA notification and equipment certified for Canada. If the job also needs a panel or service upgrade, utility coordination is a separate planning step. We review the electrical demand before recommending additional capacity.
Plan around occupied homes and operating businesses
Tell us which rooms, tenants or equipment depend on the affected circuits. For a shop, office or managed property, include access arrangements and acceptable downtime. Planned shutdowns and any separate utility appointments are discussed before the work is booked.
Can you replace a panel without changing the incoming service?+
Sometimes. Panel condition, circuit requirements and calculated demand determine the work needed. A panel replacement does not automatically increase the capacity of the incoming service. We explain whether the project involves the panel, the service or both.
Who arranges Elexicon and ESA involvement?+
We identify and coordinate the utility and ESA steps included in the agreed work. Some utility forms, approvals or payments may need the property owner’s participation. Those responsibilities and the required access are explained during planning.
Do you take commercial emergency calls in Whitby?+
Yes. Call for commercial emergency support 24/7 and we’ll confirm availability for your location. The online form is for enquiries and planned work; it is not an emergency dispatch service.
